Parks and gardens are the green blurs of colours in the blue and white bavarian matropolis. The English Garden in Munich is one of the largest inner-city parks worldwide. There you can just relax or pedal along like on the Isar riversides.
To view Munich from another perspective you do not need a helicopter. A tour on the pavilion roof of the Olympiapark opens up your eyes. Or descent into the numerous museums and exhibitions. Not only the Deutsche Museum or the Pinakothek, also the Kartoffelmuseum (museum for potatoes) allow a illustratice view beyond one's own nose.
And if Munich is to small for you, the surrounding countryside offers plenty of potential for day trips.
